FBC volunteers have been traveling to Alpha Christian Children's Home outside Perry, Kansas to assist with large projects for a few years now.
Our most recent effort took place in July.
This crew tackled painting the exterior of a residence (not pictured) and painting the exterior of the largest building on their site, the school. Many obstacles arose, quickly met with solutions. A tremendous task, a skeleton crew of volunteers, and only having three days to complete the job. We prayed, worked, ate, laughed, and collapsed from exhaustion each night. God saw us through until the job was complete. This work, this serving, this experience...is something that stays with you. You will be changed.
